Span Smart Panel Recognized as a Finalist in Fast Company’s 2020 Innovation by Design Awards

As their strategic design partner, Bould Design is pleased to share that the Span Smart Panel was recognized as a finalist in the Fast Company 2020 Innovation by Design Awards Home Innovations category. Bould Design has also been honored as a “Design Company of the Year” by Fast Company.

The Span Smart Panel is the home electrical panel re-imagined. It seamlessly integrates connectivity and control for solar power, EV charging and storage into an easy to install wall unit powered by the Span app. The confident industrial design merges form and function in a light, bright unapologetically modern enclosure.

Bould Design developed the industrial design for the company’s first product as well as their distinctive corporate identity. In addition to design contributions, Bould Design made timely introductions to engineering and investment resources resulting in the launch of their product and securing Series A funding.
