the eight sleep pod is a completely self-contained sleep monitoring and comfort system. it tracks your sleep statistics while independently heating or cooling two sleepers. the hub unit heats and cools water and then pumps it through a matrix of channels in the mattress cover. temperature is controlled by an app. great care was given to the set up and maintenance of the system.
